The early bird deadline for the Red Bike Review Short Fiction Contest is fast-approaching! Early bird entries will be accepted through July 31st, midnight PDST. The entry fee for early birds is only $15, a 25% discount. As an added bonus, early birds will receive a free copy of the spring 2019 issue of the Red Bike Review.

The Red Bike Review is currently accepting submissions of short fiction, 2,000 – 5,000 words. First, second and third place winners will receive a cash prize and publication in the spring 2019 issue of the Red Bike Review.

Not yet ready to submit? Never fear: The regular submission period will open August 1st.

Red Bike Press is also in the process of opening up submission links for contest and anthology categories including poetry, essays and lyrics. Check the Submissions portal for current categories.

Red Bike Press Launches April Book Challenge

The first ever Red Bike Press Short Fiction Contest opens July 1st for early bird entries. To celebrate, Red Bike Press is counting down the last 90 days before the contest, starting with an April Book Challenge.

To participate, visit Red Bike Press on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram via the social media links at the top of the page and post a photo or text response to the challenge of the day using the hashtags #RBPchallenge and #redbikepress. See the photo above for the daily challenges for April 1st through 30th.

The first challenge on April 1st is to post a photo or text response to the question, “What are you reading now?”
